selling stuff

I got called into the office today, and Mrs. Baranowski and Coach Donovan told me that we cannot sell anything food-related until 3. There was a mandate from the "higher-ups" stating that "competitive sales of candy, food, or drink are prohibited within an hour of the last available lunch period." Which means that we can't sell ANYTHING FOOD RELATED between 6:00 and 3:00. Which pretty much rules out us selling anything at all.

And there's nothing we can do about it.

grrrrrrrrr.

very good. and we CAN sell something non-consumable, like andrew's smencils... haha

Joe Sutherland was also called in when i was and told the same thing, so he said maybe we can do a joint carwash and split the profits... he's from the PV rowing club, which means they have girls.
we'll see...

do you think that a bot being rented is a possible idea?we can set some tasks for them to increase the fun, like cracking balloons or something.

i mean let them drive the bot

simeng,

Safety is a big concern, but if we could set up a "safe" arena, it would definitely be possible.

What kind of event were you thinking of letting people drive a bot at? I'm sure if there was a big event, that it would be a fairly popular attraction, especially if we had a fully enclosed ring where we could have the bot destroy like a stuffed animal or something. I just don't know when we could do this, or where we would get a safety box...

It might be possible to sell buttons or something like that with random science humor on them. They're cheap and easy to make, so idk...
